Rest and Restore...   30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of Sleep...

Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" is a sleep-like state which yogis report to experience during their meditations. Yoga Nidra refers to the conscious awareness of the deep sleep state.
The practice of yoga relaxation has been found to reduce tension and anxiety. The autonomic symptoms of high anxiety such as headaches, palpitations, sweating, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal problems, respond well.

You will need 2 standard pillows, 2 blankets and your yoga mat. Any other props you feel would add to your comfort during yoga nidra is welcome. Please wear a warm layer.

Ease your movement and emotional health by exploring a slow-paced yin yoga practice all from the floor. We will touch on the 3 principles of yin yoga and challenge the myth of yoga that everyone can do a pose if they just train long enough, hard enough…and with the right teacher. What is important is not what a pose looks like, but what it feels like. This practice will explore chest opening poses, easing neck tension and more related to the upper body and arms.

“We don’t use the body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into the body!”

Allow time for guided meditations and a physical practice of yin yoga poses for your Upper Body and Arms. This workshop is appropriate for beginners to yoga, as well as, the well-seasoned yoga student.  

A home-practice PDF will be provided to all registered participants. A Zoom link will be sent upon receipt of payment.
