Helen's therapeutic approach to teaching yoga clearly benefits those who study with her. Her unique take home messages (OmWork) through her weekly newsletter and social media presence continue a seamless connection with her students and community. She has studied in both Vancouver and Halifax and teaches the following yoga styles: Hatha Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Prenatal/Postnatal and Laughter Yoga.
It all began in 1998. She attended her first yoga class at Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio while recovering from a motor vehicle accident and studying at Dalhousie University. A proud Dal Alum with an Advanced Major in Neuroscience.
Being of service to her community, Helen chooses to volunteer her time at patient wellness programs at the Keshen Goodman Public Library on a regular basis. Living yoga on and off the mat is her passion and profession.
Helen Fong Yoga
Helen Fong is a dedicated full-time Certified Professional Yoga Teacher since 2006. Training extensively in Halifax and Vancouver. Currently studying for her 500-hours YTT at Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio (TAYS) and beginning her role as Teacher Training Faculty at TAYS.
